The electronic identity verification and the online functions of the nPA allow for an entirely new augmented quality in business transactions for your customers.

According to § 18 Abs. 1 of the Personalausweisgesetz (PAuswG – governing law) every ID card owner, who is at least 16 years old, can use his or her ID card in order to prove his or her identity electronically in public and non-public facilities.  The same applies if the person acts for another person, a company or an authority. Wherever your ID is permitted as document of identification you can use the online ID function which is permitted by legal provisions or administrative regulations.
